Cohesive Luxury: A Tale of Two Showers in St. Pete
For this extensive St. Petersburg renovation, the homeowners wanted to create a unified, spa-like atmosphere that flowed throughout the main residence. Our goal was to carry a consistent "organic modern" aesthetic across multiple bathrooms, ensuring that both the primary and guest spaces felt equally luxurious and serene.
Unified Design Language: We utilized a matching material palette to create a sense of continuity in the home. Both showers feature striking accent walls of fluted, wood-look tile. This ribbed texture brings the warmth of the outdoors in, softening the clean lines of the space. To balance the wood tones, we used vertically stacked textured white subway tiles, which visually heighten the ceilings and reflect light to make the showers feel spacious.
Distinctive Details: While the materials harmonize, each shower was custom-fitted to its specific footprint. We installed large recessed niches with gold trim in both showers, ensuring ample storage that integrates seamlessly with the tile work. The pebble mosaic flooring was carried through both spaces, providing a therapeutic, non-slip surface that ties the earthy color palette together. Finished with brushed gold fixtures, including luxurious rain shower heads, these twin renovations prove that consistency is key to a polished, high-end home design.
